Edmonton was the beginning of a wonderful outdoors excursion of mine.Just north of Edmonton I got to witness the Northern Lights twice in one week.......... it was for lack of a better word,AMAZING!

Edmonton, Alberta is certainly a world-class city, worthy of a hell of a lot more praise than what people give it. The river valley, the festivals, the laid-back and liberal attitude of Edmontonians, and most of all THE OILERS is what makes this city truly the greatest in Canada, and one of the greatest (for it's size) in North America, it's like a Canadian version of Denver, Colorado or Austin, Texas. So, from a British Columbian to Edmonton: Your the best!!
